General Information on our Colocation Services

Rack Sizes

Your server equipment will be mounted in modern 19''-racks. Each rack is singly lockable with numerical codes.

Standard rack size:
Base area of 60 x 90 cm or 60 x 100 cm (height and depth respectively).

Other rack sizes and rack types:
Available on demand - please let us know which rack type or size you require.

Installation and Setup:
Racks are usually available within 2-5 days, depending on the chosen data center location. For faster deployments of racks, please inform us in time.

Rack shelves or server rails?

We presume that your servers are screwable at four points (two in the front, two in the back). In cases where this cannot be achieved even by using server rails, a rack shelf is compulsory to ensure a a secure operation of your equipment at all times.

Please contact us in time and let us know which equipment you will use. In cases of uncertainness about server rails or shelves, please contact us as well.

	Rack Shelves: one-time usage and setup fee
		Rack shelf - bearing load of 50 kg	70,00 EUR
		Rack shelf - bearing load of 100 kg	90,00 EUR

Bladecenter

Each data center location is basically ready for operating bladecenters. Please note that additional power needs to be supplied per rack for operating bladecenters due to the high power supply design of bladecenters. Please contact us in advance for further information per data center location.

Cabling

CAT-5e/6 network cables will run from your hardware to our switch (100 Mbps fast ethernet). Standard cabling will be in place at the day of your hardware deployments. Please contact us in advance for specific cabling requirements (number of cables, cabling type, fibers, etc.).

Keyboard and Monitor

Carts with monitors (standard connector) and keyboards (PS/2, USB type) are available on all data floors of each data center site.

Storage Areas, Delivery Management, RMA

Secured general store rooms are available at each data center location. Storage fees are available upon enquiry. Please contact us in advance for information on delivery handling and RMA management per site.
